Brief:

As a creative team we were briefed to come up with a quick turnaround digital campaign to promote app downloads. In-line with the mischievous TOV that JUST EAT adopts, we came up with a simple cheeky, yet functional ad campaign which lets people know that they can order takeaway from wherever they are by simply using the app. Other executions used similar headlines such as ‘Do it on the platform’ and ‘Do it when the boss is away.’

Brief:

Create a digital campaign that will increase sales on a specific time of the week other than the weekend. This campaign ran for the entire summer and was so successful it was reintroduced in the autumn for a further two months.

The campaign was absolutely brilliant for JUST EAT love, engagement and reach. People really got behind the campaign and we saw the most positive consumer feedback than any other campaign this year.

  • 17.4m impressions on social channels
  • Site referrals from our social channels increased by 420% (907 total vs benchmark of 212)
  • 987 sales direct from Twitter ads, approximately £15,000 in sales
  • Mondays became most popular day for engagement (even over Friday and Saturday)
  • By end of the campaign, our community engaged with us 95% more than any other days
  • 729 pro-active ‘thank you’s’ on social channels
